We are a high-volume personal injury (mostly car wreck) firm and looking to hire a new litigation attorney. This attorney will be working on a high-volume docket consisting of car wrecks, non-subscriber work injury, and w. This is a great long-term career opportunity with lots of potential for growth and is ideal for someone who wants to be a top level attorney. 1-2 years experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- All aspects of litigation including depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
- Communicate and negotiate with opposing counsel amp; insurance adjusters to reach monetary settlements for our clients
- Dissect each case on docket to verify all medical bills, insurance liens, and case expenses prior to settlement to ensure clients receive just compensation
- Take direction from managing attorneys and execute assignments in a timely manner
- Help resolve client issues as they arise
Requirements
- Required: Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas
- Preferred: Personal injury litigation experience of 2-3 years.
- Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Excellent work ethic with the drive to "get the job done"
- Must be approachable and able to communicate effectively with professionalism
- Great attitude; must work well with support staff and be very organized
- Must be able to follow direction well from the managing partners of the firm
- Must be confident yet humble, and willing to learn.
