Job Description

Spotlight Sports Group is a global media technology company specialising in sports betting content and data. We operate multiple award-winning B2C brands including Pickswise, Racing Post, myracing, Free Super Tips amp; Soccerbase. Our global B2B division provides betting content, media partnerships, trading solutions and much more. We employ over 450 people and are still growing rapidly.

Job purpose:

The B2B Marketing Associate is responsible for supporting the B2B HOM and MM in the creation, development and implementation marketing activity with specific focus in the US and LATAM Markets. You will be working in the B2B marketing team, part of the wider marketing team at Spotlight Sports Group.

Part of a fast-paced environment, you will need to manage multiple projects at once, delivering on tight deadlines while safeguarding the consistency and accuracy of your work.


Accountabilities:

  • Drive the US specific B2B marketing strategy with support from the B2B Head of Marketing and the Marketing Manager.
  • Oversee and execute the day-to-day marketing activity for US B2B which may include social media (Twitter, LinkedIn), creation and sending of CRM campaigns, setting up lead generation campaigns (e.g. white papers) and any adjustments to the US facing B2B website.
  • Support the wider B2B team to organise various industry events with the creation of branded digital assets, stand design and printed marketing materials while considering Return on Investment and lead generation measurements.
  • Work with internal (sales team) and external stakeholders on production of various marketing and sales materials and ensure the consistent application of the Spotlight Sports Group brand proposition.
  • Identify and deliver B2B PR initiatives. Creation of clear briefs, leveraging relevant trade contacts and coordinating the execution with PR Agency where relevant.
  • Analyse the results of B2B marketing campaigns and recommend ways to pursue successes and create regular reporting to the B2B team and wider business.

Requirements

Essential

  • Experience working with a brand and co-ordinating its marketing activity, either on client-side or agency side.
  • Previous experience in creating of press releases, white papers, and lead generation campaigns
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiar working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Highly organised and accurate with a great eye for detail
  • Experience using social media professionally (Twitter and LinkedIn)
  • Previous experience working with Martech stack including CRM platforms (hubspot), CMS and email software.

Desirable

  • Strong marketing experience in the US, preferably within the B2B sector.
  • Experience working within US sports or regulated sports betting sector to understand the motivations and behaviours of our customers.
  • Strong organic interest in US sports e.g NFL, NBA, NCAAB, NCAAF, NHL amp; MLB.
  • Strong interpersonal and influence skills.
  • Superb project management expertise including excellent multi-tasking, prioritization and organization skills.
  • Hands-on, "get-it-done", results-driven mentality.
  • Basic level of Spanish language.

Regulation

  • Understanding of gambling landscape within the US
