Legends Ltd. is currently in search of a Delivery Supervisor. We are looking for energetic individuals who possess a strong work ethic and strong sense of responsibility to join and contribute to our team. The individual will supervise the delivery department to maximize safety, efficiency and customer service. This position will report to the Operations Manager. The individual will lead and develop one operations supervisor and 20 delivery employees.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance of all DOT regulations
- Ensure Delivery Department is appropriately staffed at all times
- Monitor terminal time and review Mobilecast daily with drivers
- Coordinate maintenance of all company vehicles
- Oversee morning delivery and dispatch logistics
- Formulate and maintain delivery schedules and routes with router
- Conduct regular checks on delivery drivers
- Track and maintain employee hours and PTO for payroll
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of delivery personnel
- Handle phone calls regarding customer issues
- Facilitate remedies to decrease the number of refusals received on a given day
- Work with sales and office to streamline communication between the two
- Monitor and track driver’s performance and monthly bonuses
- Conduct regular team meetings
- Ensure timely filing of any and all insurance or accident reports
- Serve as backup for shipper as needed
- Special projects and other duties as assigned
- Work closely with DC operations supervisor
- Check-in returning delivery trucks and supervise unloading of trucks
- Resolve Customer complaints

Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in beverage distribution, logistics and/or warehouse environment
- Proven and demonstrated ability to lead and develop a department and department staff members
- Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills
- Experience with Excel and VIP along with the ability to learn and leverage new technology quickly
- Demonstrated knowledge of various employment laws and practices and employee relations. DOT regulations a plus.
- Ability to understand performance metrics
- Excellent organizational management skills
- Take steps towards becoming a Delivery Manager
