We are currently seeking a Swift (iOS and watchOS) software developer to join a new software development team to shape the future of Atlas Lift Tech. On this journey, you will play a key role in helping others prevent accidents and enjoy a greater quality of life. Along the way, you will learn new skills and get to play with some kick ass toys.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Focus on building solutions utilizing an agile approach
  • Develop complex software systems scaling to thousands of users with production quality deployment, testing, monitoring and reliability
  • Ensure all technology practices are in compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA
  • Meeting deployment and release deadlines
  • Carry out safe and downtime-proof software releases
  • Work with the development team to not only develop products but also inform the team how leveraging certain technologies can help the company become more successful
  • Enhance and optimize the application architecture



Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years in development, primarily in the Microsoft space, including C# development using WebAPI and .netcore
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in either computer science/engineering, a quantitative domain like math/stats/physics, or economics) preferred
  • 5+ years of experience with distributed storage and database systems, including SQL or NoSQL, (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server or Cosmos DB)
  • Expertise in one or more object-oriented languages, including C#, Go, JavaScript, or Swift, and an eagerness to learn more
  • Proven working experience leveraging Microsoft’s server-side stack on Azure
  • Experience using machine learning libraries or platforms, including ML.NET, Tensorflow, Caffe, Theano, Scikit-Learn, or Spark ML for production or commercial products
  • Ability to challenge the status quo
  • Background in working on small teams that move fast (but don’t break things)
  • Experience working with various wearable sensors: Gyroscope, Moisture sensor, Accelerometer/Motion sensor, Proximity sensor a plus
  • Ability to analyze large features and implement practical solutions
  • Cloud experience, with a preference on Azure
  • Ability to lead and mentor other team members
  • Prior experience with health data standards/protocols and integration, including HL7
  • Experience with building SaaS software
  • Experience consuming and implementing REST APIs
  • Heavy understanding or best practices, including SOLID design principles, Domain Driven Design, and Contract First Development
  • Strong background in developer testing, preferably from a TDD or BDD perspective; automated QA experience a bonus
  • Ability and desire to work in our collaborative environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with all levels of engineers/staff
