OPPO US Research is seeking self-motivated interns to support the AR SDK team in projects that are focused on turning AR, computer vision and deep learning algorithms into software products, as well as building attractive demo Apps running on Android systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Work with team members to evaluate and verify AR, computer vision algorithms on Android devices.
2. Work with team members to Implement SDK modules with Java and C/C++ APIs, which encapsulate AR, computer vision algorithms.
3. Work with team members to build demo Apps on top of the SDK APIs to showcase the capabilities of the underlying algorithms.
4. Work with team members to debug SDK/App code and solve technical problems such as rendering, CPU performance etc.
Requirements
Minimum Qualification:
1. B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar field (M.S. is preferred)
2. Strong programming skills in Java, C/C++, etc.
3. 1.5 years of experience of developing on Android systems.
4. Previous experience of programming OpenGL.
5. Previous experience of using Google ARCore.
6. Background knowledge of AR, image processing.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Previous experience of game development.
2. Background knowledge of computer vision.
3. Background knowledge of deep learning network development and deployment.
4. Background knowledge of ARM code optimization.
