We are building software which enables businesses to be more economically and environmentally sustainable by digitally transforming the supply chain. As the Fleet Manager at VORTO you will help define a new paradigm within the trucking industry.
About the Role
We are looking for a Fleet Manager to help us bring AI to supply chains in the world’s largest companies. You’ll foster relationships with drivers and small trucking businesses, help them learn and develop confidence with our platform, and turn them into advocates for Vorto. By working with our operations and engineering teams, you’ll create an exceptional experience for drivers. You will be a Pioneer in setting a new standard for the driver experience for trucking.
Responsibilities
- Driver Community Management (drive culture)
- Carrier, Owner Operator and Driver Recruitment
- Regional Supplier Relationship and KPI Management
- Regional cost analysis and contract execution
- Regional intelligence (pricing, market outlook etc.)
- Competitor information/evaluation
- System updates, region specific, and driver improvement
- Driver evaluation
- Coordinate Training/onboarding
- Coordinate with HSE amp; Compliance Manager for risk amp; communications with drive teams
Requirements
- Prior Oil amp; Gas industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or logistics preferred or a comparable work experience combination
- 5+ years in truck operations
- Knowledge of Operations, Hours of Service regulations, and DOT / State Regulations within the transportation industry and CDL is a plus but not required
- Ability to start ASAP
- 50% travel into the field - company or leased vehicle provided (Radius of 200 miles or so based on well locations)
- Logistics experience preferred
- Fluency in speaking and writing in Spanish, preferred but not required
