Job Description
Salisbury Behavioral Health is currently seeking Recovery Support Advisors for our Community Residential located in Willow Grove. We are looking for part time candidates to complete our staff.
Salisbury Behavioral Health provides residential and rehabilitative support to individuals living with the challenges of severe and persistent mental illness.
The Recovery Support Advisor provides a wide range of guidance and support to enable individuals to live and function as independently as possible in their home and community. Staff will support and supervise positive peer interaction, assist with problem-solving skills, activities of daily living, medication management and socialization effectiveness. Staff will also support residents with life goals and physical/mental health wellness.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor/administer medications
- Daily documentation
- Ensure the health, safety and welfare of individuals
- Promote recovery
- Assist and encourage ADLs/IADLs
- Cleaning
- Cooking
- Laundry
- Activities
- Transport individuals to appointments
Training provided.
Community Residential Rehabilitation homes are open 365 days a year and 24 hours a day.
Primary Hours:
Tuesday - Sunday, 4 PM - 9 PM - 30 hours
Requirements
- A high school diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Ability to successfully complete required criminal history background clearances and screenings
