Due to our continued growth and expansion, we are currently hiring for a Data Analyst for our physician platform who will bring functional expertise in analytics and reporting to empower our business teams (marketing, editorial product and sales) with deeper insights into current product performance and ultimately help them make better business decisions.
- The Senior Director manages the Editorial Manager who oversees the editorial team and runs the day-to-day editorial operations for journal summary, medical news, Smartest Doc and other routine work.
- Works closely with the sales team and acts as the liaison between the editorial side and sponsorship side of the business, to maximize the revenue potential without sacrificing the editorial integrity.
- Takes the lead on exploring product ideas and runs routine outreaches to medical societies, individual physicians, other influencers and KOLs to better align MDLinx to what medical community needs. Recommends creative engagement strategies for growing the level of interactivity amongst our physician viewers.
- Closely collaborates with the marketing team on both HCP members and medical community outreaches.
- S/he leads the efforts to improve the credibility and trustworthiness of MDLinx among the healthcare professionals.
- Benchmarks MDLinx against key competitions and develop vision and plans to lead each section of MDLinx (journal summary, quiz, original content and so on) to be the #1 in the market. Tracks analytics to spot gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborates closely with the engineering, product and marketing teams to achieve the overall KPI goals related to user acquisitions and engagements.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience working with digital content
- 3+ years of experience in managing teams
- Experience in editorial, preferably in a newsroom setting
- Well versed in content strategy concepts with a brand publisher mindset
- Exceptional strategic thinking, project management, and execution skills
- Track record of developing and executing innovative content strategy at scale.
- Proven ability to deliver editorial projects on time in a fast-paced environment.
- Superior leadership abilitiesyou can inspire, motivate, and nurture your team members to produce their best work.
- Demonstrated success in creating and streamlining processes across within and across teams.
- A deep understanding of how to optimize content for websites, apps, and newsletters.
- A product-centric mindset; you have fluency working with Product and Engineering teams to ideate and develop editorial products.
- Track record of initiating and executing content partnerships that drive growth.
- Strong grammar, punctuation, and copyediting skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technical, and mission-focused environment
