The Workday Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for supporting the various waves of Workday Global Financial implementations. They will be part of the Project team leading the implementation of Workday Financials for our entities in the U.S., Australia, Singapore, Japan, and the U.K. They will partner with the implementation consultants to support all aspects of delivery inclusive of planning, analysis, requirements, design, configuration, testing, deployment and support.

This position works with the business, technical staff, and implementation consultants to assess business requirements and processes and align them with appropriate solutions that drive improvements in functionality, process efficiency and accuracy. They will function as a subject matter expert for all Finance transactions and business processes, including advising the Finance team, managers, and employees on proper use of Workday in support of overall business operations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the Workday Implementation process from requirements gathering, design, tenant review, testing and other business facing sessions as required
• Optimization, adoption, and championing Workday for the global enterprise
• Establish and maintain product and business expertise of assigned areas
• Leverage expertise to gather and analyze information from multiple sources to provide recommendations to address business objectives and resolve issues
• Draws on substantial experience to represent the voice of the customer to the team throughout the product lifecycle to ensure that the delivered products meet or exceed customer needs and objectives.
• Lead requirements definition and documentation by working directly with business partners
• Work with technical staff and vendors to ensure that the technical components of solutions are understood and properly accounted for (e.g. integrations, extensions, etc.) w/in the overall solution
• Perform design and configuration efforts related to enterprise applications
• Lead preparation and execution of testing efforts
• Support deployment and migration efforts
• Partner with implementer on configurations for Financial Management activities
• Perform ongoing system administration and support for assigned enterprise systems
• Provide application support (on demand support, error resolution, defect correction, reporting and training) for functional users

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• At least 1 year of finance configuration experience in Workday or other ERP
• Understanding of Finance processes, procedures, and best practice
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Proven communication skills, with well-developed verbal, written and presentation ability
• Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, good judgment, mature and positive attitude
