A Brief Overview
Currently remote, but Orlando-based, the Forms Programmer I is a key value-adding specialist on a dedicated team of skilled Forms Programmers using Adobe Live Cycle, and soon AEM Adobe Forms, to create HTML5 ‘smart’ forms for use in the proprietary Florida Realtors transaction management platform, Form Simplicity. This is a fulltime tech-oriented position ideal for someone looking for a focused backend role.

What you will do

  • Correctly and accurately apply specific code, field formatting, logo formatting, footer formatting, and any other required layout and feature formatting to forms based on a particular client’s needs and requests.
  • Troubleshoot errors on forms during the programming process.
  • Perform UT (unit testing) on all programmed forms prior to submitting completed programming work to QA.
  • Meet all deadlines for forms programming projects and provide accurate programming work consistently.
  • Complete other tasks, assignments, projects, and priorities as necessary or as directed by the Forms Programming Manager.
  • Follow departmental standard policies and procedures.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues, as needed.
  • Stay current with system information, changes, and updates.
  • Remains flexible to work additional projects as requested or as needed.

Requirements

Qualified applicants will possess:

  • High School diploma required, College degree preferred
  • 2 years’ experience with Adobe Acrobat forms creation and design software such as Publisher or InDesign
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • The ability to work as part of a team or independently with minimal supervision
  • A strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability for organization, achieving goals, and completing assignments
  • Clear and transparent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to explain in detail steps needed/taken to resolve issues

Required technical skills:

  • Adobe Acrobat Full Forms Creation
  • Adobe Photoshop or other image editing software
  • MS Word - Intermediate
  • MS Excel - Intermediate
  • Design software such as Publisher or InDesign

Preferred\Desired technical skills:

  • Adobe LiveCycle experience a plus
  • JavaScript
  • XML
  • HTML5
