At Obviously AI, we are looking for a passionate Frontend Developer who is an expert at building pixel perfect code and has a deep experience building professional applications. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Frontend Developer, you should be comfortable around popular JS-based front-end development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility. Ultimately, you will work directly with the CTO to build and write customer facing platform code.

Salary Range: $100,00 - $150,000 Annually
Stock Options: 0.1% - 0.2% Equity

Responsibilities
- Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
- Design and optimize client-side architecture
- Build the front-end of applications by working closely with the UX designer
- Integrate backend APIs while collaborating with the Backend engineer
- Use best practices for designing+organizing components with a growing team in mind
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Stay up to date with project management tools like Asana, Jira, etc.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Frontend Developer (or similar role) in a professional environment
- Ability to convert wireframes to pixel-perfect frontend code
- 2-3 years of experience working with any JavaScript-based Frontend Framework
- Thorough experience with VueJS amp; VueX
- Proficient with concepts like Single Page Application (SPA) and application state management
- Prior experience working with any MVC Framework - E.g. Laravel (preferred), Ruby on Rails, etc.
- Thorough understanding of SQL syntax across popular Relational Database Solutions like MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Advanced-level competency using git for version control, incl. understanding of concepts like "merge", "resolving merge conflicts", "rebase", etc.
- Strong understanding of REST API fundamentals
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- [OPTIONAL] Background in designing/implementing/documenting REST APIs using the OpenAPI standard and any associated API frameworks.
- [OPTIONAL] Experience working with any cloud-computing solution, e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, etc.
- [OPTIONAL] Prior experience with application containerization using Docker
- [OPTIONAL] Prior experience working with any NoSQL database solutions.
- [OPTIONAL] Familiarity with Web sockets
- [OPTIONAL] Prior DevOps experience with CI/CD tools.
