Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating daily and seasonal menu offerings featuring our CHANDON wines
- Host Educational Experiences for our Guests on a pre booked basis
- Occasionally host and prepare for Virtual mixology classes offered to Club or VIP Clients
- Work in close collaboration with our Brand Team on the development of new CHANDON feature Cocktails used across our channels
- Work closely with winemaking and viticulture team on creative ways of developing mixology ingredients by using fruit and herbs grown on our land
- Assessing bar customers’ needs, take orders and preferences and making recommendations
- Always keep bar stocked including but not limited to wine, glasses and mixology ingredients
- Answering questions about our wines, menu items, food sensitivities and food substitutions
- Drive sales and Club acquisitions by implementing strategic sales skills and adequately representing the history of CHANDON
- Giving customers suggestions for food and drinks and telling them about any special menu items
- Communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any complaints
- Processing customer payments
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ Experience as Bartender/ Mixologist
- Effective communication and active listening skills for conversing with guests
- Knowledge of federal, state and local laws dealing with the consumption of alcohol
- Impeccable customer service skills and social perceptiveness
- Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness
- Oriented toward serving others and helping customers
- Accountability in processing customer payments
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced hospitality environment
