The Role:

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our Brand Solutions practice in Los Angeles. This position requires bringing best-practice approaches to clients in areas including media, content and social strategy, serving as the daily point-of-contact and counsel for traditional and digital media programs. Successful candidates will be creative thinkers and collaborative team players who can drive the execution of consumer communication campaigns. Candidates should have experience leading integrated communications programs for consumer brands ideally in sectors ranging from from financial services, retail, food and the technology space. This is an opportunity to combine creative and strategic media strategy for campaigns across multiple platforms for high-profile brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Media and Content (traditional, digital, social) key message development and campaign management
  • Strong earned media relations in top tier outlets and platforms in consumer, wellness and lifestyle sectors
  • Review materials (e.g., pitch letters, news releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios, newsletters)
  • Manage account teams communicating across levels and geographies
  • Research, design, develop, implement, and manage routine client projects.
  • Partners with Client and other communications firms (i.e. ad agencies) to develop and complete communications plan.
  • Contributes to program development for the Client and new business proposals.
  • Manage all day-to-day client activities, projects, and teams in order to build trusted adviser relationship with clients
  • Flesh out ideas as they relate to client objectives and bring them to life in presentations and written proposals
  • Cultivate positive client presence in trade media through releases, contact and responsiveness to inquiries/requests
  • Assist senior leaders in proposal writing and new business pitching

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of work experience in the Public Relations field, with CPG, retail, and/or consumer technology experience
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Expertise in integrated media relations campaigns with established relationships with Trade and National outlets
  • Advanced presentation skills, strong and persuasive communicator
  • Strong project and people management skills
  • Desire to work in a diverse and inclusive organization as an active participant in culture
