Requirements
Hudson Medical + Wellness is actively seeking a skilled and experienced contractor as our Athena Health Subject Matter Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for streamlining our Athena Health Cloud EMR to best practices and efficiencies. You will make changes to the structure of our departments within Athena and remove any unnecessary departments and dependencies. In addition you will improve our workflows within Athena to ensure we’re getting the most out of our reports and resources.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support all facets of content within Athena Health EMR system
- Restructure our Athena Health instances to follow best practices
- Identify Athena workflow inefficiencies and optimize them
- Develop customized and solution oriented workflows
- Create Athena training materials for future usage
- Optimize and automate Athena reports
Desired Skills and Experience
- Expert in EMR Athena Health (2+ years of experience)
- Expert in MS Office Applications, equivalent Google Applications
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations with tact and professionalism
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Demonstrate logical reasoning and critical thinking skills
- Detail oriented with highly organized work skills
Education and prior Job Experience
- Graduate with a BA/BS degree
- 2 5 years of experience in maintaining an EMR system at a multi-location and department medical practice
