Quality Engineer is responsible for evaluating the efficiency of the company’s operations and documenting and analyzing procedures and processes with the intent of forwarding recommendations for changes that will improve efficiency and/or reduce all forms of waste. The Quality Engineer establishes quality standards and maintains workflow descriptions and/or diagrams, documents procedures and ensures compliance with the established standards. Lead amp; Coordinate special projects related to Supply Chain driving continuous improvements with respect to processes and team capabilities.
Conduct a comprehensive review of current supply-chain processes and develops a metrics-based system of measurements in order to assess progress while holding the efficiency gains achieved.
Requirements
1. Design, develop, document, and implement improved processes and procedures to monitor all work processes. Promote development through validation, surveillance and audit of processes and quality systems.
2. Champion the implementation of an effective continuous improvement process which includes root cause analysis and corrective action through follow-up auditing.
3. Assemble, analyze, and report quality and productivity metrics to support continuous improvement activities.
4. Make recommendations and formulate the guidelines for improving the efficiency of work processes.
5. Develop and deliver training programs to all stake-holders and further promote the concept of continuous improvement.
