Legal Assistant (Product)

Job Description
Regen Network is looking for a Product Legal Assistant to develop and adapt contracts to enable the Regen Registry products and business model.
You will be interfacing with executives, product development leads, project managers, outsourced legal teams, to communicate Regen Network need’s and present information to internal and external team members. You will coordinate the contract development for ecosystem service payment, assets and other natural capital products coming to market on Regen Network. Ideally you are able to provide your legal opinion to inform business and product.
Requirements
- You’re able to translate and synthesize complex legal documents to stakeholders unfamiliar with complex issues
- You can track pertinent legal issues and assess advise on a strategic legal risk to executives
- You have experience quickly adapting contracts for dynamic product and business model needs
- You can fluently navigate between offline contracts and click-wrap contracts for manual and software platform driven contracts use scenarios
- You have a bias toward action and trying to constantly move things forward
- You are a strong project manager, seeing an entire issue through, while bringing in additional experts, such as privacy or regulatory specialists, when necessary.
- You have a passion for carbon market space and are familiar with related technical and international legal issues.
- You can navigate between various personality types and working styles
- You are highly organized
- You are intellectually hungry, a constant learner, clear communicator, with a strong collaborative approach
- You have excellent written communication skills in EnglishYou have experience working remotely
- You are passionate about climate change and supporting land stewards
