The Master Scheduler/Planner is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through the on-time delivery of defect-free product that meets all requirements and specifications, which is completed by continuing the steady flow of product through each stage of manufacturing.

What you’ll do:
Analyze demand and forecast provided by program team planners and map out work performance Identify process gaps, area-by-area constraints and technical issues by work function. Run what if scenarios to resolve issues and level load including options with process changes, additional resources and/or overtime and by pulling work in or pushing work out Schedule and lead meetings and reviews necessary to plan and manage capacity Create weekly production schedule, working with program team planners and production coordinators Monitor production flow to assure deadlines are met and locate boards if tracking discrepancies occur Analyze and perform more capacity modeling techniques to define potential solutions Communicate concerns, changes, delays and potential solutions between departments Coordinate and manage projects, RMA and expedited production orders when needed When needed, move/expedite multi-level board build between locations to meet customer commitments Perform all Semi-Finished Goods transactions in Fourth Shift of vNET Assist production to track and expedite material through processes as needed Provide guidance and training to peers on Production Scheduling tools and requirements as needed Lead or participate in Vanguard CAPA, Continuous Improvement and DI projects as required Performs other duties as assigned.Requirements
What you’ll need:
Advanced proficiency in computer systems, including MS Excel, Office, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams, organize, and prioritize work effectively Strong communication skills including verbal and written in formal and informal settingsEducation and/or Experience
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Experience planning, scheduling and/or expediting materials in a fast-pace manufacturing environment Capacity modeling, MRP, and Document Control Systems experience Familiar with multiple databases and proficient and mining and compiling data from multiple sourcesPreferred Qualifications
Technical, Engineering or Business Certification or Degree Experience in regulated environments such as medical products, aerospace products, etc.While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear.
