To do that, we need an experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team. You will serve as the lead point of contact for qualifying and closing business with new clients/prospects while building and nurturing trusted relationships with prospects. This position requires outstanding communication skills to present to and influence key stakeholders in our client organization and internally at AIIR.

While no two days are alike, you can expect to:

  • Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities in accordance with sales targets and company expectations
  • Qualify all inbound marketing leads to ensure they meet our sales opportunity requirements
  • Follow up on all leads/referrals from event, conferences and webinars
  • Conduct research, identify target organizations and buyers, work with marketing to execute outbound marketing campaigns, and develop a pipeline of sales opportunities
  • Engage with clients and prospects with confidence, communicate timely and meticulously document your efforts in HubSpot
  • Conduct effective needs analysis for qualified sales opportunities
  • Pursue sales opportunities to close and seamlessly handoff closed business to Account Management and Client Success Team members
  • Partner with Director of Business Development, Service Line Leaders, and other stakeholders/team members to ensure accurate scope and transitions
  • Develop business insights based on data analysis and translate into actionable activities
  • Build and maintain a steady flow of new meetings/opportunities
  • Provide accurate and timely analysis of monthly goals, results, and forecasts

Requirements

  • Proven working experience in Business Development (3+ years) or similar experience in a client facing role
  • Demonstrated sales track record
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills that connect with people and develop rapport
  • Self-direction with the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Possess a learning mindset and a willingness to adapt to a fast paced environment.
