The Role
An exciting opportunity has opened up in our finance team for an enthusiastic, fast thinking, numbers minded graduate to join our credit control team.
We are looking for someone who loves startups and sees opportunity round every corner. The person will be directly responsible for collecting millions of pounds of revenue every year and will get first hand experience in how cashflow management is put into practice in fast paced growth businesses. The candidate will have excellent communication skills and love talking to customers, but can also deploy those skills to deliver against collections targets.
The role is based on our beautiful NYC office, but we will be maintaining a social distancing policy in the short to mid term including home working flexibility.
Key objectives for 2021 will be:
- Working with the UK credit control team to bring down our debtors book by 50% with a specific focus on targeting the NORAM ledger (our largest book)
Doing this through:
- Hitting the phones - contacting all our hotels as their furloughed staff return and agreeing payment plans where required
- Customer wow - making sure customers have all the information they need to make payment: preparing and sending statements, account reconciliations, responding to queries etc.
- Communication - working alongside our Customer Success teams to ensure a consistent flow of information both internally and to our customers
- You will also be encouraged to feedback internally - we are always looking for ways to be entrepreneurial on how we can speed up the contract to cash cycle.

- Knowledge of Xero accounting software a plus
