Job Description

Cloud9 is looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us with high volume inbound sales opportunities. We are looking for someone that has a desire to develop inventory and packaging and help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative.


Essential Functions of the JobWhat you'll do:
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales cycle
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives as the team grows
  • Category prospecting, outbound lead generation, inbound lead management, meeting scheduling, presentation building, partnership ideation and scoping
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Sales experience is required (at least 2 years in a sales role, preferably in esports)
  • Successful previous experience meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business acumen and industry expertise
  • Excellent responsiveness, organization, and collaboration skills
  • A big plus if you have gaming experience, esports knowledge, worked with content creators and/or partnerships
  • Minimum of a high school diploma
