Summary/Objective
The Assistant Controller will be responsible for providing high-level support to the Controller as they manage the company’s accounting and financial activities. The Assistant Controller will also manage special projects as needed.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant
Experience:
- 15 years total experience in Finance amp; Accounting
- 10 years in accounting/auditing and SEC financial reporting for a public company
- Technical accounting skills built on years of detailed and complex accounting and/or auditing work
- Project accounting and revenue recognition experience
- Inventory accounting experience
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Detail oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Must be able to read, write, speak fluently and comprehend the English language
