Who We’re Looking For
Esme Learning is looking for a UX/UI Designer to support our dynamic and fast-paced online collaborative learning business with short course programs we’ve created with top-tier universities like the University of Oxford, Cambridge, MIT, and more. You will help shape and execute on our marketing and technical stack across the company to drive customer experience.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and Execute on Product Design for Esme Learning Marketing Site and integration with the AI-enabled Esme Learning Platform.
- Develop and design UX frameworks, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and refined experiences iteratively with a strong foundation in UX and UI principles.
- Responsible for translating business objectives into intuitive workflows and designs.
- Design and create user interfaces, mockups, and workflows aimed at maximizing user experience.
- Work with Development Team to understand which patterns can be implemented and adjust designs accordingly
- Write thorough UI design specifications and style guides.
- Partner with Project Manager and Dev Team to plan out implementation strategy and make design revisions in order to meet timelines.
- Ensure UX/UI best practices and drive improvements in designs and methodology.
- Propose optimizations and creative approaches to systems that can cultivate impact for users' needs.
- Schedule, QC and deliver work in its final stages.
Requirements
- 6-8 years UX/UI experience (preferably in a start-up/scale-up environment)
- Experience designing for eCommerce platforms like Shopify
- Experience with mobile-first work
- Experience with product design, not just marketing websites
- Experience with analytics dashboards
- You will have experience in delivering projects on budget, within scope, and on time
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Excellent collaboration and team-building skills.
- Effectively manages to project deadlines and escalates issues as appropriate.
- You will need to have experience in prioritizing tasks and have the ability to identify and action the most efficient solutions.
- Experience with digital marketing and within the e-commerce space.
- Experience with Figma, JIRA, Adobe Creative Cloud - Indesign, Photoshop, AfterEffects.
- Demonstrate the following in your portfolio: dashboard, digital product, eComm, and large brand marketing site experience
- Be a strategic, creative, pragmatic thinker and problem solver.

- Ambitious, articulate, proactive, fast-learning team player with a ‘can do’ attitude
