Job Description
Since launch, Artory has established credibility as the blockchain provider for the art world. We work with every major art business, supporting them with our Ethereum-backed Registry, private registrations on a permissioned blockchain, and next tokenization of physical assets.
You will be an important part of Artory’s next stage of growth.
As we are a small team, we need you to be an individual contributor, and you are expected to be a top notch coder. The ideal candidate must have a strong attention to detail in ensuring the application runs smoothly and that new features are created flawlessly from design to development to deployment.
Details of the Role
- Work with a global team to build our next products
- Write scalable code using Python programming language
- Lead and work with the front-end and back-end development teams and their projects in a collaborative environment
- Lead select software development projects by setting requirements, goals, and timelines
- Work with speed and quality, hitting goals, and delivering great software
- Roll up your sleeves and code, deploy releases, and run code reviews
Requirements
- You're passionate about building great software that provides a great experience and solution for real users
- You have a strong and demonstrable track record for working well in a startup environment - assessing and prioritizing client needs, and delivering results in an agile, dynamic environment
- You have architecture knowledge, as well as frontend, backend, and blockchain experience, with a proven record of implementing best practices in software development
- You communicate effectively sharing successes, challenges, and progress
- You are a hard worker who brings energy and commitment to small teams
- You have 3-5 years of experience as a Python developer, including knowledge of Python and related frameworks including Django, Django Rest Framework, and Flask
- Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (like JavaScript and HTML5)
- Familiarity with AWS, Git, Docker
- Familiarity with testing tools and debugging applications
- Comfort using team collaboration tools such as Jira, Github, and Slack
- Experience working with an agile development team
- Extensive experience with cloud technologies and familiarity with blockchain
- Familiarity working with a data team that delivers data products
