Lexington Medical is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and detail-oriented person to join our HR Team. The People Operations Lead will be responsible for supporting hiring, onboarding, employee inquiries, and People process and policies. This role is critical to enable our business growth and further our mission of bring the best surgical stapler to the market. This role reports to the VP, Human Resources.
With this role, you will have a great opportunity to learn the full-cycle employee experience including onboarding, employee record management, process improvement, system implementation, and off-boarding. The ideal candidate will be friendly and helpful, comfortable with handling highly confidential information and will know how to prioritize work and understand the balancing act of managing multiple projects.
What you will do
- Process new hires, promotions, terminations, and other job changes in HR systems.
- Document and maintain process procedures for HR systems.
- Deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle.
- Support Recruitment- track open positions and pre-screen resumes, post open job requisitions to both internal and external sources, review resumes and screen candidates.
- Lead and work on HR/People projects as we build out the team and function (performance management, HR system implementation, etc.)
What you bring to the table
- Perform some office management support and duties (5-10% of role)
- BS/BA degree with 1+ years of HR experience.
- Experience working in a HR department strongly preferred with 1-2 years of experience, Co-op and internship experience will be considered.
- Detail and data oriented with impeccable follow through.
- Familiarity with HR systems.
- Aptitude for learning.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Creative, innovative, passionate.
- Are extremely organized and proactive with follow up.
