A client of JeffreyM is looking for a Program Manager to join their team in the Greater Seattle Area! This is a contract role, set to end in June 2022.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Organize and facilitate accessibility-focused training and education efforts, including content updates/collateral creation
- Provide guidance on engineering and accessibility requirements
- Responsible for creating, monitoring, and maintaining quality control of content, including HTML markup
- Developing, maintaining and managing program requirements, plans, timelines and risks
- Supporting managers to drive a project
- Lead cross-organization project teams towards targeted and scheduled outcomes, while managing conflicting agendas and business priorities
Requirements
- MUST HAVE: Technical knowledge of assistive technologies
- 3+ years of program/project management experience
- Knowledge of Accessibility standards required, ideally proven through certification in Accessibility, for example: Trusted Tester, CPACC, or PCWA
- Understanding of etiquette, culture, history, and communication channels to maintain trust with the Gamers amp; Disability communities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills to all levels and cross discipline, including ability to translate complex concepts into general content
- Ability to manage daily workload, work independently and as part of a team and high attention to detail required
