Summary/Objective The Director of Behavioral Health is directly responsible for the successful administration of the Behavioral Health telemedicine service line. The Director will also assist in the planning, implementation and overall development of Behavioral Health inpatient, emergency and outpatient telemedicine consultative services.
Essential Functions Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Assist in the planning, organizing and development of Behavioral Health Services telemedicine consultative services, which include, but are not limited to the following areas: financial, administrative operations, practice management, and strategic planning related to program quality measures, internal and external growth. The Director will also develop collaborative working relationships with hospital and other facility leadership, physicians, and staff.
Requirements
Minimum Required
- Education - Minimum: Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Experience - Minimum of three (3) years experience in Behavioral Health hospital management and a minimum of 5 years experience in clinical related specialty. Must have a working knowledge of Quality Improvement Process and TJC standards.
- Must be able to read, write, speak fluently and comprehend the English language
- Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in home state of practice.

- Ability to travel for corporate meetings and events, as well as existing and potential client facilities

- Requires the physical abilities to lift, position, push, pull, and/or transfer materials in excess of 20 pounds. Also requires dexterity in the fingers, hands, and arms to type, write, and manipulate small technical devices.
- Requires the mental and visual ability to view and concentrate on a computer screen and small technical devices.
