This is a 6 months internship position with the opportunity to be extended. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are only able to consider US national candidates at this time.


Summary:

The Quality Coordinator will support the Quality Manager with the ISO certification project. He/she will work with multifunctional teams to ensure that processes and procedures are correctly documented and delivered on-time to meet company and ISO quality standards. The Quality Coordinator will support the team with coordination, planning, creating, updating, and management of DCC processes, procedures, and documentation control

The Quality Coordinator will assure products, processes, and quality records conform to quality standards and establish compliance with the quality system. Responsible for maintaining a strong collaborative partnership with cross-functional team members that facilitates organizational success by safety and meeting business needs. Lead on-time completion of Quality Assurance (QA) engineering deliverables.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Will deploy process validation with regards to ISO
  • Develop and create standard processes around which others will operate and build consensus
  • Works with and influences key stakeholders to develop and maintain procedures, forms, and systems.
  • Lead and mentor others with QA data analysis, trending, and reporting.
  • High proficiency with reporting and publishing weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics.
  • Proficient as a lead representative for presenting QA System to internal and external stakeholders. Investigate and resolve system nonconformance's and concerns (defined during internal and external audits). As appropriate, leads in the completion of risk assessment, as related to QA and ISO systems.
  • Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees.
  • Propose, setup and maintain key Quality and Environmental KPIs as part of the ISO system
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities, as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in a process engineering and/or quality role
  • Bachelor level degree in Engineering, Technical Field, or equivalent (advanced degree preferred)
  • Previous Quality assurance/engineering experience and demonstrated use of Quality tools/methodologies with, knowledge of FDA, TTB, GMP (as a plus), and ISO 9001 / 14001 (mandatory)
  • Demonstrated and impactful project management and leadership skills, including the ability to lead multi-departmental project teams and resolve quality-related issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
  • Multitasks prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner with follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail
