Job Description

Summary / Objectives:

The Consult Coordination Center (CCC) is the care delivery mechanism of SOC Telemed, and as such, has the critical task of connecting patient to physician. The Telemedicine Training Content Designer will be responsible for creating engaging course content utilizing varied software packages to serve as the primary education and training for physicians, clients and CCC agents. This content will be provided to clients, physicians and CCC agents via a variety of media including, but not limited to Learning Management Systems, video education, pdf documents and education workflows and manuals.

In addition, The Telemedicine Training Content Designer is responsible for knowledge and understanding regarding all training and education related to the SOC equipment, applications and technology for CCC staff as well as developing training programs and executing these trainings for new and existing clients across all service lines. The Telemedicine Training Content Designer will be required to work with the training department develop workflows, algorithms and procedures for all service lines and for CCC agents. This individual will also be responsible for scheduling and conducting original trainings and refresher trainings for agents and clients in a professional manner.

Essential Functions:

1. Develop and maintain:

a. CCC Training program for CCC Coordinators, Dispatchers, and Supervisors including modular content, task assessments and job readiness evaluations, and handoff protocols.

b. Client Training material and documents for all service lines internally and externally and is responsible for modifying training videos/documents/Content as required utilizing such programs as Articulate and Adobe Creative Cloud.

c. Physician Training material for all specialties, internal and external, and is also responsible for updating/modifying all training videos/documents/content as required utilizing the necessary software

  1. Conduct new client trainings, refresher trainings and Mock consults with clients across all service lines. Provide training via video or by traveling onsite to clients when required.
  2. Work with IT and Implementation Team to ensure facility equipment delivery and function of equipment before training clients. Will also escalate end user working issues with IT.

4. Participates in departmental planning processes as appropriate.

5. Is able to cross train with scheduling coordinator to provide support when needed.

6. Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company polices to achieve the overall objective of Operations Support and this position.

7. Maintains a favorable, collaborative working relationship with all departments to ensure efficient working environment to achieve company’s mission.

8. Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all issues or concerns and takes prompt corrective action where necessary.

9. Maintains a positive team spirit and fosters a positive organizational culture that aligns with the SOC values.

10. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree focused in Training, Healthcare Administration, creative design or relevant Business degree
  • OR High School Diploma plus 3 years of relevant work experience in a creative or content development role
  • Familiarity with call center monitoring, quality assurance, performance KPIs and telephony systems.
  • Experience with Creative software suites such as Adobe Creative cloud or Articulate

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Individual/group/class Training and Instructional Design experience
  • Experience with Healthcare/IT product training
