Job Description

  • Manage assigned automotive customers including Tier 1 and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) , respond to customer inquiries, and prepare weekly business reports and provide regular program updates to management/Director level, HQ and internal communications
  • Resolve problems by investigating the presented with other departments and/or researching under the specific customer’s account
  • Multi-task between various stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Achieve or exceed sales performance targets versus budget
  • Communicate piece price and tooling costs to customers, including but not limited to POs, RMAs, Payments, billing, shipment, inventory, etc.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and future sales, including coordination of business and technical support in efforts to meet customer needs and product qualification requirements
  • Devise and develop strategic relationships with customers, conduct and analyze market and competitive information and make strategic recommendations including pricing and product
  • Work closely with LG Display team on pricing, production planning, deliveries, inventories, etc., and maintain efficient communication with LG Display automotive team in NA, S. Korea and other region globally
  • Conduct regular project review meetings with the customers, and visit customers independently to moderate business discussions, provide technical presentations, promote display product, and develop new projects win to grow the business
  • Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams, and manage supply chain performances to satisfy customer’s demands on time
  • Support responses to customer RFI (Request for Information)/RFQ (Request for Quotation) packages
  • Develop, control and manage the timing plan for the subsystem to ensure all customer deliverables are met
  • Coordinate necessary communication meetings, support workshops, and facilitate product development team meetings and reviews
  • Comply with the company’s policy and procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 3 7 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field (degree in Engineering is preferred)
  • Prior Automotive Sales Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Authorized to work for any U.S. employer
  • Travel required: 40%
  • Bilingual (English/Korean)
  • Strong and proven experience in Sales and Sales Management
