Chandon is hiring for a Wine Club Sales Specialist who, as part of the Direct to Consumer team, will be responsible for recruitment, promotion and education of Chandon’s Wine Club business to accelerate Club Member acquisition and sign-up. The sales savvy associate will partner with our Winery and Brand Home team to elevate customer service and communications, improve new consumer rapport and bolster Club education support. This is a seasonal position.

Overview:
This individual reports to the Club amp; DTC Customer Support Supervisor and shares responsibility for reaching the goals of the Chandon Wine Club, including new wine club sign-up and membership growth, wine club education, consumer hospitality and service support.
Sales Expertise
- Daily in-person contact / customer service to build rapport with winery guests and members
- Promotes and educates guests on Wine Club story and presentation of offers, and join promotions
- Accelerate growth of new memberships, sign-up and processing, while tracking staff acquisition and progress
- Assist with marketing efforts amp; presentation of wine club, club referral, amp; periodic outreach to wi-fi users / opt-in as needed
- Include preparation and implementation of membership benefits and promotions, such as welcome letters, events calendar, invitations, announcements and other collateral material.
- Tracks feedback from guests amp; club members on membership offerings, benefits, experiences, wines, etc.
- Provides ongoing and periodic recommendations and suggestions on wine club program based on consumer feedback
- Audits new member applications for errors (as needed)
- Support Winery staff by assisting with tastings and new/club product pours (splashes) for guests to close new membership
- Works all Wine Club functions including special events, pick-up parties and on or off-site pouring to grow membership
- Supports and demonstrates commitment to the Company’s sustainability and green initiatives/practices by leveraging winery and club technology (when possible) to capture consumer data and grow wine club sales
Customer Service
- Provide outstanding customer service and hospitality support
- Respond and resolve customer questions received during conversation and presentation of the Chandon Wine Club
- Interact and Engage with current Club Members (when needed) to answer questions about the Wine Club, Benefits and Experience offerings/updates.
- Promote sales/upsell guests through Club product education and promotion knowledge and enthusiasm
- Promote Club Chandon exclusive products, events, respond to inquiries, and track sign-ups
- Represent the company at club events and provide support and new acquisition sales. Respond to inquiries from Hospitality staff regarding club membership offerings, benefits and promotions
- Maintain and build solid working relationships with Internal Business Partners
- Updated various customer service and sales tracking reports as needed
Miscellaneous
- Assist with any department-related tasks or projects and other duties as assigned.
- Assist with direct club sales, club presentations and employee trainings as needed

Requirements
Professional experience amp; know-how :
- Sales and business development experience is required
- Minimum of 2 years inbound/outbound sales and customer service experience, preferably in the wine industry (but not required).
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Passionate about sales and customer relationship marketing; outgoing people-oriented salesperson with the finesse to relate well with a wide range of consumer audiences, including high-end customers.
- Self-motivated and willing and able to assume additional responsibilities.
- Ability to anticipate customer needs to respond to questions about the Wine Club
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as well as flexibility in scheduling to ensure business-staffing needs are met
- Some knowledge of wine and luxury goods is required
- DTC experience is required
- Customer service or support experience highly preferred
