GEM One is a brand new TECH company within the TVH Holding that aims at developing future-proof solutions for optimal fleet performance management in multiple domains such as: track amp; trace, operational efficiency, security amp; safety and service amp; maintenance. We offer cloud-based solutions and the necessary hardware components to intelligently gather and enrich data of industrial equipment to streamline fleet management related processes.

To support the rapid growth of Gem One, we are looking for an Operations Manager Americas to coordinate our organization’s operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for Customer Support as well as Inventory management whilst continuously improving the performance

You will be a mentor for your team members, find ways to increase the quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels. We will trust you to help us remain compliant, efficient and profitable during the course of the business.

Tasks

  • As the Operations Manager Americas you will lead a team (Technical Support and Customer Support) and will report directly to the COO (Chief Operating Officer). In addition you will:
  • Be responsible for our CRM Package
  • Be responsible for the optimization of our internal tools and processes
  • Ad Hoc Finance/ Administration tasks
  • Hands-on helping your team when necessary
  • Be aware of market information

Requirements

  • Previous experience of minimum 5 years as a Operations Manager or in a similar role
  • Degree in Business, Operations Management or a related field
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Global experience is an asset
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles
  • Excellent communications skills, leadership skills and outstanding organisational skills
  • You are internationally oriented and have a proficient command of English, Portuguese and Spanish (spoken en written). Knowledge of any other language is a very nice to have
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • You are willing to travel for your job
