Senior Financial Analyst, Laboratory
We are looking for a passionate individual to join LetsGetChecked’s Laboratory Finance Team. The Senior Financial Analyst, reporting to the SVP of Finance amp; Strategy, will play an important part in LetsGetChecked’s success by working directly with LetsGetChecked’s product, business, and finance leaders, driving financial planning and business forecasting, and developing strategic analysis around important programs. This role will focus on supporting our business across the United States and Europe.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support the preparation of the quarterly and annual budget and forecasts.
- Develop in-depth financial analysis and explanation of expense trends.
- Provide subject matter expertise, working with the business to identify spending efficiencies and cost reduction analyses.
- Develop and compile key business metrics and report on them to management.
- Carrying out business modelling and risk assessments.
- Responsible for identifying and driving process improvement opportunities.
- Analyze financial and operational reports, and interface with field and Operations Excellence on cost improvement plans
- Monitor, benchmark and analyze:
- Productivity performance by department and function
- Productivity and Expense Trending support of actions required to improve
- Analyze Supply and Lab Sub performance, including cost and test menu analysis
- Extensive involvement with FPamp;A in capital deployment activity, including
- Capital Spend monitoring and budgeting
- Investment look back analysis
- ROI and NPV calculations for prioritization of capital projects
- Monitoring of Ramp;D roadmap and project ROI
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 4+ years’ experience
- BS/BA degree in Finance/Accounting or related field preferred
- CPA or equivalent qualification would be a distinct advantage
- Prior experience in a similar finance role required
- Perceptive, self-starter, ability to work independently along with being a team player
- Continually seeks to improve work processes and find ideas for more effective working
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, develop timelines and set goals
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Great communication skills and ability to articulate results based on audience

- Advanced Excel modelling skills required
