As a Senior Scrum Master for Perceptyx, you will be acting as a Project Manager who also uses Scrum to execute interesting product development projects. You will get the opportunity to coach and lead Scrum teams to deliver high-value products while emphasizing Agile project management methodologies, collaboration, team self-management, and ensuring flexibility to adapt to emerging business needs. You will also plan, develop, and execute a series of Agile projects to create new products and enhance existing products end to end. In this Senior level role, your expertise will make you a key member of the department and, this will allow you to be involved in stretch assignments that will enhance you as a Sr. Scrum Master.

Requirements

Some Things You Will Do:
  • Agile project planning from Requirements to Product General Availability.
  • Ensure projects are completed by their defined schedules.
  • Communicate project status, project plans and anticipating delays and obstacles.
  • Measure, evaluate, and communicate team metrics.
  • Develop visually appealing dashboards and reports to aid in the communication of the project status to the stakeholders.
  • Manage change, communication, and training as part of product implementations.
  • Work within a continuous integration, Agile software development lifecycle, enabling Scrum teams to reach higher efficiency and performance.
  • Work with team members to keep product backlogs and project plans visible, relevant, up-to-date, and prioritized.
  • Encourage professional excellence among team members and promote an organizational culture of customer service, innovation, and quality.
What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master.
  • Professional certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent).
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Project Manager in an Agile/Scrum based environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master for a web-based software products company.
  • Experience using tools such as Jira, AHA, and Product Board for managing deliverables. Also proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to work with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of software development processes and procedures.
  • Experience in taking software products to market.
  • Knowledge and experience in facilitation, continuous improvement, empowerment, transparency, and servant leadership.
  • Experience managing Agile approaches such as Kanban, Scrum, and XP.
  • An understanding and experience with SAFe or other structured Agile methodologies.
  • Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, WIP management, and other Scrum techniques.
