As a rapidly growing company, we are looking for a driven and talented Warehouse Operations Manager to join us at SnackMagic. You will be the go-to leader for all of our warehouse staff. You must be highly organized and knowledgeable of the categorization of each product and be able to spot problematic trends as they develop. You will be in charge of making adjustments to our processes when necessary, which means you may need to employ some outside-the-box reasoning. You may be asked to oversee inspection and repair of machinery, track inventory, and devise employee schedules that can keep up with our daily activity. You will need to meet quality standards without overstepping the budget and prepare and implement action plans that utilize our available resources in the most efficient way possible.
SnackMagic Warehouse Operations Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements
- Develop, implement, enforce and evaluate procedures and processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management and shipping
- Develop warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing current workflow
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Coordinate daily business operations, ensuring organizational excellence
- Manage and implement organizational objectives, strategies and policies
- Coordinate and oversee all Human Resources responsibilities, including hiring, training, disciplining and terminating of all warehouse employees
- Develop and document standard operating procedures
- Maintain compliance with local, state and federal requirements
- Communicate customer issues and feedback with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience
- Communicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings
- Prepare the work schedule for all warehouse workers.
- Communicate with partners to determine the incoming and outgoing times of new items, while efficiently managing space and inventory
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a warehouse environment
- 2-5 years of proven experience managing inventory and order reconciliation
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role
- Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Highly organized and disciplined
- Easily adaptable to multiple softwares like slack, intercom, G Suite.
- Exceptional analytical, root-cause-analysis, and decision making abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities including presentation skills with recommendations and data
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work to meet all deadlines
- Flexibility to work during high-production times
