Job Description

Would you like to support dynamic and exciting projects that deliver world changing solutions and have a direct impact on the lives of cancer and rare disease patients worldwide? Join our Project Management Office in the US and use your excellent organizational skills and technical project management knowledge to help us deliver projects on our mission of democratizing Data-Driven Medicine.

As a Technical Project Manager you will act as the single point of contact for a portfolio of complex projects. You will develop and direct project schedules and resource plans. You will co-ordinate activities and inter-dependencies between projects to ensure the project schedules align. You will lead interdisciplinary project teams, conduct project meetings and be responsible for stakeholder management and reporting. You will manage, track and mitigate project risks and establish a global risk management approach across the portfolio of inter-connected projects. Additionally, you will share best practices, take the lead on initiatives and continuously strive for process improvement within the Project Management Office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in a software development, biotech, medical devices or a related field
  • Experience managing complex software development projects and strong knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (Agile and Waterfall methodologies) and demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in an Agile environment
  • Experience working with LIMS/EHR systems and API development
  • Knowledge and experience in Design Controls and Medical Device development preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem solving and ability to think outside of the box
  • Experience with MS Project or similar project management tools
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PgMP etc.)
  • Fluent in English
