Avex is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect with extensive Shopify, Front-end and eCommerce experience to help create and scope technical solutions for Shopify eCommerce storefronts. You will work with our developers, project managers and strategy team to oversee the development phase of our eCommerce projects from discovery to implementation. You will interact merchants to create solutions that meet their business needs.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with and lead development teams to ensure project success
- Daily/weekly development stand-up calls
- Improve internal development best practices and QA processes
- Scope high-level applications amp; functionality within Shopify
- Code-review with other team members to ensure we are following best practices
- Attend pre-sale calls with clients to assist with project scoping
- Lead technical discovery phases and consult PMs and Operations on timeline and scope
- Research and scope out solutions based on requirements
- Transcribe scope into a development to do list in project management tool
- Ensure agency tays up-to-date with Shopify, eCommerce and Development trends and tech
Requirements
- Experience with Shopify platform is a must
- Expert knowledge of front-end development languages
- Industry experience in B2C eCommerce
- Excellent knowledge of integrations and tech stack diagrams
- Experience with eCommerce integrations such as: Shopify Apps, supply chain, marketing, ERP
- Version control and conflict management capabilities with Git
- Excellent build/deployment management capabilities
- Headless Commerce knowledge a huge plus
