Position Description: LGY Team is looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer working with Application and Technical Architects to translate a business need into a robust and integrated technology solution. You will be working in a fast-paced environment solving unique and challenging software problems and developing innovative solutions.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in one or more backend languages (Java must have / Spring preferred / SpringBoot added advantage)
- Proficiency in one or more frontend framework (React preferred)
- Experience with one or more databases (Oracle preferred)
- Experience developing responsive web applications.
- Good OO-skills. Must demonstrate strong familiarity of design patterns.
- Ability to understand complex code quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new technologies.
- Experience practicing pair programming in a team is an advantage.
- Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Pair programming and Test-Driven Development is an advantage.
- Good communication and client-facing skills.
- Experience with Veteran Affairs is an advantage (current PIV/GFE enablement a plus)
- May plan, design, develop, redesign or enhance, install, or implement various technology products, or enhance computer programs.
- This individual applies knowledge of software and programming to develop and test computer systems and produce the necessary outcome for clients.
- May draft technical white papers to better understand the technology behind them, and to provide instructions that help the client better understand the nature and applications of a specific product.
- Must be able to obtain a public trust security clearance
