Job Description

TetraScience is a cloud-native technology company that helps Ramp;D IT, scientists, and data scientists accelerate Life Sciences Ramp;D by making experimental data accessible and actionable.

We provide a cloud platform that automatically collects, centralizes, and harmonizes experimental data to prepare it for exploration and analysis. We focus on this because Ramp;D is overwhelmed with experimental data in silos and different formats. To extract real value, the data needs to be aggregated in a common, flexible structure so that it can flow seamlessly across disparate systems.

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, highly motivated person with a deep life sciences background to join our team. This role requires an experienced marketing professional with proven product marketing and content development skills who will develop modern, memorable, differentiated sales and marketing materials that will drive company growth. This role will primarily be responsible for developing and maintaining the sales enablement toolkit and for developing the core content that will be used as the basis for marketing lead gen campaigns.

You will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing. There will be ample opportunity to contribute to many marketing activities beyond the stated role, as well as strategy, as we continue to build out the team, tools, processes, brand, and messaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Marketing
    • Deeply understand customers, personas, influencers, and life sciences Ramp;D data landscape
    • Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Exec Team to
      • clearly, concisely, and compellingly articulate unique value propositions
      • define and optimize pricing and packaging
  • Sales Enablement
    • Develop copy and layout for sales enablement materials such as pitch decks, one pagers, customer success stories, demos, proposals, and competitive positioning
    • Own the sales toolkit; collaborate closely with Sales team to understand needs, refine/evolve existing materials, and provide training
  • Content Development
    • Develop marketing content for all stages of the buyers’ journey including presentations, whitepapers, solution briefs, landing pages, videos, blogs, etc.
    • Create tools to support the sales cycle such as sales kits and buyers guides, as well as tools to support demand generation assets and activities such as webinars, infographics, etc.
    • Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Marketing to identify content topics that will resonate with and provide value to our target audience, driving engagement and ultimately impacting new business goals
  • Other Responsibilities:
    • Track KPIs and results across campaigns
    • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to support key marketing, sales, product, and other company-wide initiatives
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies as it relates to the key responsibilities described here
    • Monitor results, provide reports, and make recommendations for enhancing effectiveness of content and messaging

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in related roles such as B2B product marketing, content marketing, management consulting, or similar
  • Domain expertise in life sciences Ramp;D is required
  • Strong and prolific writing skills across both long form and short form collateral
  • Storyteller with demonstrated ability to communicate complex, large-scale concepts clearly and simply
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple complex tasks and rapidly shifting priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes, make decisions in an uncertain environment, and solve ambiguous problems independently
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and proactive self-starter focused on delivering results; creative problem-solver, critical thinker, and team player
  • Comfortable/active with employee advocacy on social media (Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Analytical yet creative thinker who has a passion for acquiring and making decisions on actionable data
  • BA/BS degree preferred, MBA/MS desirable
  • Design experience is a plus
  • Previous start-up experience is a plus, especially an Enterprise SaaS software company
  • Experience with databases, cloud, IoT, big data is a plus
  • Experience using Salesforce, HubSpot and/or comparable CRM and marketing automation systems is a plus
  • Experience with channel or partner marketing is also a plus<
