SamCart is looking for a performance-driven Director of Performance Marketing (Acquisition) to own our digital acquisition efforts. You will take an engine that is well-funded and proven at scale, and build out an entire team to drive the development and growth of new and existing channels, taking us all to the next level.

  • Are an inspiring and diligent leader
  • Have prior experience building acquisition teams at high-growth companies (gt;75% YoY ARR growth)
  • Achieved B2B and D2C lead quantity, quality and funnel velocity acceleration
  • Have worked with Executive Leadership, Sales, Partner, Product, Success teams and other key stakeholders across the company to understand and create a strategy that reflects the priorities of the business
  • Have determined the KPIs and built the processes that teams need to execute effectively within the context of the larger goals
  • Created customer journey mapping to open and accelerate new direct and indirect selling motions
  • Live and enhance our culture of trust and transparency through day-to-day leadership

Using your B2B SaaS background and skills, you will join us on a journey to stretch the marketing team's contribution and impact beyond traditional boundaries, setting new thresholds for best-in-class performance.


Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose the lead generation and development process (traffic to trial; trial to MQL amp; SQL) to remove bottlenecks and prescribe changes to targeting, messaging, campaign execution and lead development tactics.
  • Manage, analyze, optimize and scale current campaigns to increase user acquisition and drive revenue
  • Manage significant advertising budget to a RoAS target
  • Understand at a detailed and tactical level the conversion rates at each stage of lead and opportunity development and identify the levers that increase conversion rates.
  • Mastery of buying behavior and motivations.
  • Work with your team to develop a marketing strategy that finds the balance between prioritizing campaigns to increase revenue immediately vs. initiatives that build SamCart’s value long-term
  • Deliver critical reporting and analysis to the rest of the leadership team
  • Translate the Board and Leadership’s company goals into marketing team initiatives
  • Work cross-functionally with other team leaders to ensure Marketing’s needs are met, as well as meeting the needs of other departments

  • Growing key revenue 100% YoY
  • Adding hundreds of new accounts each month
  • Exceeding revenue quotas

Ideal candidates should have professional experience in the following:

  • 6+ years performance marketing experience
  • Strong analytical skillsmust have the ability to turn data into optimizations across the team. You’re obsessed with CAC:LTV, ROAS, etc
  • Deep and working knowledge of both traditional and digital marketing, particularly paid channels including Facebook, Search, Google Content Network, LinkedIn, YouTube and native ad platforms
  • Previous experience building and/or managing large acquisition teams
  • Experience hiring, training, measuring and incentivizing digital marketers
  • Deep experience in scaling paid digital acquisition channels including search and social
  • Ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Strategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions
  • Highly professional with excellent communication
