Job Description

CTI is searching for a creative and experienced Senior Intelligence Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our innovative team of subject matter experts, software engineers, and program managers. We are looking for someone who is intellectually curious, self-motivated, committed to excellence, and constantly seeks to learn and grow as an individual and professional.

CTI is a rapidly growing software, systems and services company dedicated to rapidly developing and fielding capabilities for military, intelligence, and first responder communities. We are known for our ability to collaboratively approach problems in a non-conventional way, hire unique talent, and operate at a much greater speed with the customers and communities we serve. As a Senior Intelligence Operations SME, you must understand the contemporary operational challenges and opportunities present within the US Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) area of responsibility. Applicants must also demonstrate a keen ability to collaboratively work to identify the best commercial, open source, or internally developed technologies to overcome those challenges and take advantage of those opportunities.

You will be responsible for performing multi-faceted assignments that require the analysis and synthesis of complex systems and projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Apply extensive operational and analytical background experience gained from intelligence and special operations military service and leadership roles
  • Prepare, consolidate, and disseminate point papers, threat assessments, fused analytic products, target development and/or target support packages, operational security and force protection requirements, operational CONOPS, and briefings in support of conventional force (CF) and Special Operations Forces (SOF) missions and deployments
  • Display proficiency in analytic theory and principles during interagency, joint, and combined operations at tactical, operational, strategic, and national levels to solve current and/or future mission needs and to correct problem areas
  • Discover trends, behaviors, events, and directed global developments among publicly available information (PAI). Generate assessments, reports, or other products that span the area of responsibility, with emphasis in specific customer directed areas
  • Perform advanced open source/PAI research and analysis to determine adversarial operating characteristics and/or patterns
  • Conduct social media research and analysis on adversary influence operations, their vulnerabilities, and our ability to counter
  • Work across multiple Divisions and Portfolios to identify, synergize, and strengthen intelligence technologies and capabilities
  • Identify and utilize tools to collect, process, exploit, and disseminate large quantities of data
  • Demonstrate superior writing and presentation skills to develop documents, papers, analytic reports conceptual articles, and briefings
  • Fuse operations and intelligence information into an effective and seamless process to enhance situational awareness of adversarial networks

Requirements

  • Active, or ability to obtain a U.S. top secret security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of relevant work experience, master’s degree plus 6 years relevant work experience, or doctorate plus 6 years of relevant work experience
  • In some cases, educational requirements can be adjusted or waived for more than 15 years of applicable work experience. Work experience can also be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions that involved complex operations
  • Experience directly supporting Intelligence Community or Special Operations Forces as a Senior Intelligence Analyst, or Operations Planner is highly desired
  • Experience in the INDOPACOM AOR or knowledge of INDOPACOM Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIR) or objectives is highly desired
  • Highly motivated, driven, and self-starter
  • Ability and willingness to learn, to react to, and share lessons learned across the organization
  • Ability to communicate effectively via multiple mediums and with management, co-workers, and customers, both technical and non-technical
