Job Description

We are seeking a professional, self-motivated inbound technical support representative, who has the ability and the willingness to act as the frontline voice of our customer technical support efforts. This person will quickly create relationships with our customers through the force of their friendly and confident personality, which will shine through in their phone, email, and online chat communications.


Job Summary

The Tier 1 Support Technician will be responsible for answering and resolving basic product technical-support questions received from customers. Technicians are responsible for ensuring resolution in a timely manner.


Responsibility

  • Provide first level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues.
  • Ability to set up users in Active Directory and Office 365.
  • Ability to troubleshoot remote users issues via Teams or TeamViewer.
  • Basic understanding of troubleshooting antivirus issues.
  • Ability to communicate technical solutions in simple, step by step instructions verbally and via email.

Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

  • Prior help desk experience a plus
  • Basic troubleshooting
  • Prior experience working with IOs devices.
  • Mac IOs experience a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Thorough knowledge of Windows PC environments and associated components
  • Basic working knowledge of LAN/WAN
  • Effective communicator
  • Comfortable working autonomously and self-motivating
  • Ability to work diligently and utilize problem-solving skills to fix issues and ensure functionality.
  • Must have familiarity with Windows devices and hardware.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in a business environment. Bilingual is a plus.
