THE ROLE:

Reporting to the SVP, People, the Senior Human Resources Business Partner will work directly with Athletic Green’s senior leadership to develop and direct an HR agenda that closely supports organizational goals. Key responsibilities include culture and people engagement, performance management, compensation execution, enforcing company policies and practices, managing succession planning and organization design, and more. As an HRBP, you will represent the People Team and will serve as the direct point of contact to managers and employees across the company. You will also play a key role in ensuring we have a positive and healthy work environment for all employees.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Conduct routine check-ins with people managers and department leaders providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the SVP, People to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to people managers (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, etc.).
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Organizational Development: Provides support in organizational planning as it relates to hiring and building teams.
  • Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
  • Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
  • Minimum of 7-8 years of HR experience in a management position.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including engagement, organizational planning, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SPHR or PHR credential strongly preferred.
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, hyper-growth environments
  • Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple work streams at once.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
  • Record of successfully working on complicated Employee Relations issues
  • Experience working cross functionally within all of HR segments with demonstrated collaboration amp; teaming
  • Ability to create content and deliver effective presentations for company-wide distribution
  • Evidence of successful influence and manage change and deal effectively with change management initiatives
  • A strategic thinker and creative problem solver who takes initiative and ownership
