Genesis is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst. Reporting to the Controller group, this individual will provide administrative, financial and clerical support

Primary Responsibilities:

• Own Accounts Payable across all entities of Genesis
• Perform monthly statement verification and reconciliation
• Provide month end close support

• Assist team with gathering support for audits
• Help to design and implement a well-controlled accounts payable process
• Performing all Accounts Payable functions in compliance with established procedures and corporate policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
• 1-2 years of general accounting or AP experience
• Previous AP system experience a plus
• Excel proficiency

• Knowledgeable of accounting principles and bookkeeping
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent organization skills
