Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries for monthly close
• Perform monthly reconciliations of cash, prepaid, accrued expense, broker/exchange receivable, digital currency and other balance sheet accounts and coordinate resolution of discrepancies
• Assist in the preparation of the company and subsidiary financial statements
• Assist in establishing and implementing processes company-wide that will ensure the timely and accurate accounting treatment of all transactions under US GAAP
• Preform monthly and quarterly balance sheet and income statement variance analysis
• Support and coordinate internal and external audits
• Assist with finance related ad hoc and automation projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
• 3-5 years of accounting experience in financial services and/or public accounting
• Experience with financial reporting and corporate accounting
• Experience with US GAAP and broker dealers is a plus
• Basic understanding of regulatory rules and regulations
• Organized and detailed oriented
• Ability to multi-task with good time management skills to meet multiple reporting deadlines
• Exceptional analytical skills and strong Excel skills.
