Our Marketing amp; Sales department promotes Joomag and drives sales. The department consists of marketing and sales teams that together develop marketing campaigns and sales strategies that align with our targeted audience.

We are looking for a VP of Sales amp; Marketing to join our executive leadership team. This person will be responsible for owning all aspects of sales achievement, from marketing, demand generation to close. You'll be in charge to lead, develop, improve and iterate on strategy and execution of the team.


Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct Joomag's market vision, strategy and course; drive category and market leadership, go-to-market, campaigns and execution.
  • Drive sales growth
  • Manage, support, and backfill (as needed) the current and future team. This could be everything from helping close key deals to identifying and addressing risks amp; opportunities on the horizon.
  • Partner with Product team to build business plans, positioning and messaging, pricing and packaging strategy, and GTM for new products, as well as launch those products into the market with a full suite of market-facing and sales enablement content.
  • Obsess over creating, iterating, and implementing the sales tactics we need to be the most competitive technology company in our market.
  • Develop and refine sales strategies to ensure we are leveraging resources to correctly prioritize the right markets, with the right products, at the right time
  • Collaborate with the rest of the executive team to ensure organizational alignment, working closely with Client Success and Product in particular to ensure we are working as 1 team to deliver an amazing experience throughout the customer journey.
  • Develop a multi-channel strategy for reaching Joomag prospects; run integrated campaigns and programs to drive pipeline growth.
  • Work closely with the team on proposal and sales material creation, white papers and RFI and RFP responses
  • Work closely with the team on joint sales and marketing initiatives such as email campaigns, media opportunities and social media to increase our brand and name recognition

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years experience in sales, marketing, growth marketing, and product marketing at a SaaS company.
  • Significant experience and success marketing to SMBs and Mid-Market.
  • Significant experience in SaaS B2B technology marketing.
  • Proven track record of extraordinary sales results in technology, including lead generation and closing deals
  • Comfortable with large and medium sized company engagements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including being a great writer and orator.
  • Strong track record of success in closing complex sales and managing prospective client accounts at various stages of the sales cycle
  • Executor Extraordinaire: This role requires obsessive attention to detail, a tremendous sense of urgency, and client responsiveness and follow up.
  • History of deep nuanced understanding and expertise in product.
