Aetos is looking for a high speed Software Developer to assist with the management, development, testing, and maintenance of computer programs. The Software Developer will ensure that the applications meet the needs of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). As a Software Developer you will be responsible for:
- Analyze objectives and problems identified by analysts and/or designers;
- Translates the solutions provided by systems designers into detailed program specifications;
- Assists with preparation of documentation for other programmers, users of the system, and support services workers;
- Assist with program design activities including definition of data and error message arrangements;
- Develop system level scripts and programs using JavaScript and ASP.NET and use HTTP protocols, developer tools, SSL certificates and web application architecture;
- Collaborate with other team members to assist with modification and documentation of program code to correct error message arrangements; and
- Test applications and assist with the preparation of reports on the status, operation, and maintenance of system software applications for use by DLA.
Requirements
Education/Clearance
- Associates degree, or 2 years’ equivalent experience in applications programming
- Must have Secret Clearance
Skills
- Proficiency with coding languages such as JavaScript, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS
- Develop system level scripts and programs in programming languages including but not limited to: HTML, XML, JSON, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript, C-Sharp (C#), Microsoft Reporting Services Report Definition Language (RDL), and Microsoft Transact-SQL (T-SQL).
- Utilize standard development tools including Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio 2012-2017, and Team Foundation Server (TFS).
- Troubleshooting browser compatibility issues between Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, amp; Google Chrome
- Understanding the ins-and-outs of HTTP protocols, developer tools, SSL certificates and web application architecture
