Job Description
Territory Manager Summary:
The Territory Manager is responsible for selling and marketing company products and services to new and existing accounts, as well as promoting company products through personal visits, e-mail, telephone and trade shows. This position will cover Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, and Imperial County, CA.
Applicant must have valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
In this position you will be on the road for the majority of your time. This position would involve daily interaction via phone/email with the regional location manager. Vehicle allowance, cell phone, laptop and other essentials provided.
Territory Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain relationships of existing customers and secure new customers
- Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and quotes.
- Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
- Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
- Communicate quoted prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
- Consult with clients after sales to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
- Provide customers with product catalogs.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Territory Manager Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
- 5 years outside agriculture sales experience.
- Background in Agriculture
