If you are an energetic charter salesperson who is looking for a positive, growth-focused organization to take your aviation career to the next level, Ventura Air Services is seeking an experienced Charter Sales Coordinator. Ventura Air Services is a 135 Charter Operator based out of Farmingdale, New York. We are a family-owned operator who has been providing charter services for over 60 years. We strive to promote our core values both to the customers we serve and internally. We added 5 tails to our certificate in 2020 and are continuing to grow. Ventura Air Services is small enough to see you as an individual but large enough to provide stability, growth potential, and internal opportunities for our employees. The Charter Sales Coordinator will join a team tasked with quoting, selling, booking, scheduling, and coordinating trips on our fleet of private jet aircraft. Our clients include corporate executives, celebrities, and other high-net-worth individuals.


This role is based in Farmingdale, NY. After evaluating the ability for this candidate to work remotely, we have determined that this candidate will need to be local to either Farmingdale, NY or Nashville, TN.

Primary Duties amp; Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate price quoting to brokers and direct customers in a timely manner
  • Field high number of calls and emails and produce quotes in an expedited fashion
  • Maintain an accurate customer and broker preference database
  • Foster amp; nurture relationships with customers amp; industry personnel to promote goodwill amp; generate new business
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding objectives each month by meeting key performance indicators and sales targets

Requirements

  • Experience utilizing FOS aviation software preferred, but not required
  • Must have experience working for Part 135 Charter Operator
  • Willing to be scheduled as an after-hours on-call person in rotation with other personnel to include weekends amp; holidays
  • Demonstrate customer service skills with the ability to multi-task in a time-sensitive environment
  • Experience successfully negotiating amp; closing multiple trips simultaneously
  • Professional appearance, excellent verbal amp; written communication skills
  • Ability to think quickly on your feet and adapt priorities as necessary
  • Must possess effective communication, organization, presentation, amp; administrative skills
  • Ability to multi-task, collect amp; analyze data, define problems, establish facts amp; draw valid conclusions in a timely manner
  • Ability to generate/write reports amp; business correspondence
  • Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite
