Job Description
Want to help us transform the pet industry? As Senior Director of Product, you will own our entire product portfolio of Rhapsody (our SaaS platform for veterinarians), Boop (our B2C mobile app for pet parents), and Petabyte Analytics (our data platform for veterinary groups). This is a very high-impact and high-visibility role collaborating with our customers, executive team, investors, and other stakeholders to drive our roadmap, strategy, and deliver features from nose to tail. Ultimately, a better product can only improve the lives of pets and pet parents!
What You'll Do:
- Lead and prioritize our roadmap
- Manage and lead a team of product managers, designers, and analysts
- Engage with our major partners and investors
- Develop feature ideas to improve the product and carry our strategy forward
- Help manage and communicate delivery timelines with external stakeholders
- Help drive discovery/research with our users
- Bring sharp, best-in-class product thinking to our growing platform
- Help turn complex requirements into simple and engaging workflows
- Work with developers on implementing and adapting specs based on technical needs
- Inspire new ideas based on user and market research
Requirements
- 5+ years of product experience in SaaS and/or B2C products
- Experience driving roadmaps engaged with senior stakeholders
- Experience driving product discovery, including feature breakdown, use cases, and scoping
- Pet or veterinary industry experience a bonus (but not required)
- Ability to operate effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
- Process-driven and detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills with customers and developers
- Self-started and ability to take ownership over major features from beginning to end
- Strong project management skills
- Excited to work in a rapidly growing start-up
