The Clinical Coordinator II ensures that program reporting and evaluations are completed. Serves as a clinical resource and provides consultation and supervision to agency staff.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in the field w/2 years supervisory experience and/or program development. Associate Licensure in Arizona. Generally supervises 9 or more Full time employees.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card and pass backgrounds.
  • Possess valid driver's license with acceptable driving record, telephone and reliable transportation.
  • Demonstrable theoretical knowledge in field.
  • Personnel management capabilities.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Extensive knowledge and background working with variety of populations
  • Ability to use CPI and behavior management techniques in crisis situations.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates ability to develop treatment plan based on participants needs.
  • Demonstrates ability to distinguish between alcohol and other drug-related symptoms and other pre-existing physical problems or pathologic behaviors.
  • Demonstrates ability to understand the bio-psychosocial influences and effects of chemical/co-dependencies.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to make independent decisions.
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment, e.g., computer, copier and FAX.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to type and working knowledge/familiarity with computers and electronic clinical record keeping.
  • Certifications in First-Aid, CPR and CPI.

Qualifications Preferred

  • Knowledge of area and services to special populations.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Sign Language.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of special populations such as substance abuse.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of how the acute and chronic nature of the chemical/co-dependence and the ways medical, emotional behavioral, social, educational and other interventions are used to treat the participant.
  • Knowledgeable of benefit and entitlements process and available community resources.
